Just figured I would drop in and make an account after lurking for about a year now attempting to learn more about these beautiful vehicles.
Might as well give a little back story about myself since this is my first post
My name is John and I live on good ole' Cape Cod and have been fascinated with everything Lotus since I was about 13 (Now 18). My first dream car being the elise, ever since I saw it in a racing game my father had given me. Just something about it caught my attention and from that point forward I have never lost interest.
I've only ever seen a few Lotus cars in person (1 gray Exige who lives in the town next to me and a Lotus Esprite Turbo in NY) which makes me sad because these cars are pure works of art and I don't think many people gives them much thought
Anyway I have been given an opportunity that may teenagers do not have and for that I am grateful. On my 21st birthday my father and I will be splitting the bill on a new (or lightly used) Lotus Evora to be shared between me and him. We will both equally pay any costs for the car. We plan on keeping this car for a very long time and keeping it very well maintained. This is something I have been looking forward too since I was 16 and its still 3 years away but he wants to wait until I am 21 which I do think is fair. I just can't wait I'm getting too excited thinking about it now haha
