I posted a thread in the new forum members section but seeing as I'm from Washington I figured I would throw one up in here to. Not sure how much life there is in here but anyways here's a copy of what the other thread said.

Well obviously I'm new here so lets see where to begin...

My name is Britt Huff, I'm 19(actually will be 20 this saturday the 25th) and from Seattle, Washington. I am a huge soccer nut and love to play or watch soccer and of course very excited that we have The Seattle Sounders FC now

Now to the autos, I had a red 1997 Jetta GT for my first car which was totaled by a man doing 50 in a 35 zone while running a red light. The car held up extremely well given that the guy who hit me was in a truck. It only left about a 6 inch deep dent from the middle of the front wheel well to the back of the rear door on the passengers side. After that I picked up a black 1997 E36 BMW 328i which I later sold to pick up my current car which is a blue 1996 E36 BMW M3. I can post some pictures if anybody wants to see it.

Now I am looking at making a move to a Lotus Exige though I am not very familiar with the cars in a whole only the way they feel from a brief test drive. Took me 2 years to research the M3 before I bought it as I like to know everything about the vehicle I'm buying so could be some time before I actually go to pick up an Exige(that and finding a good condition E36 M3 that hasn't been beat up or tracked is quite hard). So now I'm beginning my research on the Exige and hopefully will be the proud owner of one in the near future. If anybody knows some particularly good articles, books, or threads on the Exige please link them to me.

Oh one last thing, what does mean?

welcome Britt. here is a few links that might have some of the info you want, but i think just talking to people on here you can get a feel for what the car is like. I have an elise, but have owned a lot of cars in my life. To me there is nothing like a lotus. The drive, feel, seating, engine (noise and feel), and etc..... I just picked up a maserati and i like that car a lot, but even having that in the garage now, i would NEVER give up my lotus. there truly is nothing like it. With that said, for me it about the driving experience. I love getting into my elise and just driving. I cant speak for it as a daily driver. Many people on here use them for that and they are happy with it. The main advice i would give would be to get to know some of the people on here. Most of the people here are amazing and i am sure would more than willing to give you a ride. If not i live here in Boise and if you are ever my way i would more than happy to take you out so can see what it is like. I fell in love with the car before i even bought it, but the 20 minute drive i took didnt show the car off (and what it could do) nearly enough. I hope this helps and again welcome to the community.

We will probably have another Pacific Grand Prix Track day coming up soon. Feel free to show up with a helmet. There are a bunch of drivers that would be happy to give you a ride. I'm one of them.
