$35,000 range. C6 Corvette? I had a C5 before and miss the Borla Stinger sound! Test drove C4s, Cayman S, C6, XKR... Love the xkr but its not a stick! Xlr v is cool but an auto as well.

You can get the CTS-V as a stick, im surprised that the XLR-V doesn't have that option...
there was a C5 Zo6 that sold here for about 10k less than your price range just a few months ago, so you'll definitely be able to find something!

How about another Elise? :D
Seriously! Why would you sell the Elise? To each his own, but I just don't get wanting to go from a Lotus to a Porsche or Vette.

The Elise was fun but it was hard to say no to the cash offer. My Elise has 40,000 miles and the guy gave me a price I couldnt say no too lol.

Also I want something that can hold golf clubs unlike the Elise.
That's where the Evora comes in. There's quite a few out there now in the 50s.

Evora.

And yes, what was the offer? Were you trying to sell it at the time or was it a random offer?

Sold my S/C Elise and went with a new 09 911 turbo. It was like a fat fast BMW. Here I am back with an Exige!

Hope I'm not just getting in the way with this, and I can fully recommend this great car manufacturer called Lotus. No they are not made by Ferrari, but...Here's what I would consider... E92 ///M3 $35,000 Great reliability, while being a bad ass rwd mean machine. My #1 vote. Bimmerforum dot com would be able to help you big time.

Cars for Sale: 2008 BMW M3 Coupe in costa mesa, CA 92627: Coupe Details - 333344603 - AutoTrader.com

Audi S5! $29,000. I detail a red S5 and it is a fantastic, quality car! AWD, grips like a &%^$, and has a seriously grunty v8 sound when you step on it.

STi 2011 $25,000. AWD, manual, big turbo, rallying background, perfect all year round driver. Kills in the snow.

SLK55 ///AMG $30,000. Small, but still fits your golfclubs, and has that classic meaty ///AMG sound. Pocket rocket pretty much.
http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/vehicledetails.xhtml?endYear=2013&zip=45069&listingType=used&listingTypes=used&sellerTypes=b&maxPrice=36000&mmt=[MB[SLK55AMG[]][]]&modelCode1=SLK55AMG&sortBy=derivedpriceASC&makeCode1=MB&startYear=1981&searchRadius=0&bodyStyleCodes=CONVERT&minPrice=28000&listingId=333433634&Log=0

BUT... If you have to consider a Corvette, spend a tiny bit more, and get a proper Z06. 2006 Z06 for $36,000
http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/vehicledetails.xhtml?endYear=2013&zip=45069&keywordPhrases=Z06&listingType=used&listingTypes=used&sellerTypes=b&maxPrice=37000&mmt=[CHEV[CORV[]][]]&modelCode1=CORV&showcaseOwnerId=92382&makeCode1=CHEV&startYear=1981&searchRadius=0&bodyStyleCodes=COUPE&minPrice=28000&listingId=327576905&Log=0

And.... '95 NSX $33,000
http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/vehicledetails.xhtml?zip=45069&endYear=2013&modelCode1=NSX&startYear=1981&makeCode1=ACURA&listingType=used&listingTypes=used&sellerTypes=b&searchRadius=0&maxPrice=37000&mmt=[ACURA[NSX[]][]]&minPrice=28000&listingId=333424051&Log=0

If you couldn't tell, I'm bored at work, and have nothing to do. haha You could also consider an AP2 S2000 for a bit less, E55 amg, or an EVO X, but I'm not sure what youre into

My guess would be $30,000 to $35,000.
The offer you can't refuse would be $35,000.
