I tried to put my hardtop on for the winter and discovered the nut at the front left corner has become detached from the inside. Is there a way to reattach the nut so the clunk bolt can then be tightened?

In the diagram below, it is the nut that item 22 (clunk bolt) threads into.

22 is supposed to be lose it is removable. it goes to a nut in the top. it has treads and than a shaft and than treads

I think he means the nut (what OP said) is loose in the hard top.

Don't know man. epoxy? I've never studied that assembly.

I want to say its bonded internally to the hard top. A body shop with fiberglass skills should be able to git it right.

This happened to me in a rear corner, had to have Dietsch repair it. Sorry, I know that is not helpful.
