Try Haggertys or another collector car insurance company if you are not going to be putting a lot of miles on the car. I got a quote of $650, but since I told them I would drive 5000 miles a year, they said they wouldnt do it sinc ethey want 3000 miles or less. Grundys doesnt insure the Elise, put I got a quote from Parrish-Hancock? of 850 for a year. It is a hastle since you have to have a clean record for 10 yers, show them pictures of your garage, keep the car locked inside when not in use, but if you can meet their qualifications, it is worth it.

I hate Allstate, they never want to pay on claims.
Had to take them to court to get a settlement once, and I have heard other complaints about them. The TV reporters here did a survey and found out that Geico only saved 1 out of 7 peoplel money and was higher for 4 of the 7 people. They are going to see if anyone is going to contact the State Attorney Generals office and see if they file a suit of false advertising so that the state insurance commission can investigate and charge them with deceptive advertising.
