Ive got this kit on my S2 - they make a world of difference, I wouldnt be without them if you are going to use the car daily.

What was it like to install?

I put in the best bulbs money can buy but am still not satisfied with the brightness, so it's something I'm considering.

very easy - just 2 wires and 2 ballast boxes to be fixed to the bulkhead...then re-align headlights properly

thats it - go for it..nothing else compares...just wish I could afford to do the main beam and driving lamps in HID too !
