Lets start keeping track of how delivery is progessing.

We know that some people who are number 1 or 2 on their dealers list have gotten their cars, but who has the current highest number that has gotten their car?

If we keep posting to this thread we can see how fast the cars are coming in.

Just reply if you have a higher number in line than the last poster or have a higher serial numbered car than someone else on the list.

Also please list the serial number so we can see how many cars have been delivered so far.

If you dont feel comfortable giving out your serial number, just put an X in for the last number.

Example: Car 2/ ABC Motors/ Serial #42X

The point is to see how long the wait to get a car.

If most people that are #4 in line at most dealerships have gotten their cars, it would mean that you are due to get yours soon. It would also help us figure out what dealerships are getting the most cars, since if person 10 at dealership A got their car and person 5 at dealership B was still waiting, we would know that the one delaership has a larger allocation.

The VIN or serial number would give us an idea of the total number of cars that had been delivered so far.

I'm #1 and DON'T have my car yet. It's at the distribution center but not yet delivered. This is in large part due to the color. I think that within the next 30 days you'll see deliveries of most of the previously "skipped" LSS cars and the average delivery number at each dealer around 7 or 8.

I don't see the point of this either. As far as we know there are not going to be any scheduled regular rotation deliveries till after Oct. Most dealers have an idea of how many they'll get (1st 10 by october and so many a month after that.) At this point it'll be too sporadic.

It is humorous reading people trying to make sense of the delivery when there is none. Colour is irrelevant, so is LSS and anything else you can think of.

xxxotic, I would forget about the wait list number or any other number for that matter and if you are so inclined just keep tabs on the number of cars received and sold by each dealer. As we know many dealers are selling to people out of the waiting lists so the method you propose doesn't help much. This way at least you would know what delaers have been getting the most cars, it may be that some of the highest allocation dealers are also some of the same that sell to non-listers or at above MSRP but at least you'll know who is and isn't getting cars. Also keep in mind that this list will only start to be any usefull in about 6 to 12 months and only to those people who are not yet on any list but since we haven't got anything better to do.......

Boy do I miss the days of surfing porno sites! :p

Color delayed my cars producton 2 months. I picked a special order color which will likely, with the possible exception of KG, be the rarest color for the car. Dispite what some think or may have been told, the cars are being, to at least a limited extent, color batched. Thus the first 3 Lazer blue cars were #1 (me) #8 and #7 (both at other dealers). Thus I waited longer for production of my car and they got theirs a little earlier. Lotus is begining to change this but that is only based on what's recently come from Hethel on the matter.

NtflBlueLiz, the other problem, which you began to touch on, is that if dealers such as Fox Valley buys cars at auction, then they appear to have a greater allocation then they actually do. This will throw off the numbers in the thread as well.

OK, you guys got me. Doesn't it seem odd to anyone else that a color, not even officially offered or at least marketed is outselling 2 other "lifestyle" colors (AB and KG)?

It's no surpise though is it! Lazer Blue is a very nice color. I couldn't live with fire engine green or AB which looks too similar to gold aerosol spray paint :p

In all faireness to Lotus they are not alone in their taste for AB. I have seen 350Zs, as well as some GM cars in a color very similar to Aztec Bronze, as a matter of fact I think one of the 350Z show cars or add cars was that ugly color.

I have a 350z in sunset orange....nissan's "bronze" is the only"bronze" I like. All the other manufacturers bronzes are ugly. Nissan's is orange with bronzy metalflake. It looks nothing like aztec...I've seen pics of aztec and they look horrible.

PS nissans color reminds me of the color Chrysler used on Roadrunners and GTX's

You haven't learned yet...useful threads that wil actually clarify, quantify, and have highly useful, targeted data are frowned upon on here...by management and members...I learned...and stopped trying to get such threads started.

In spite of your smiley face, this is the second time you have posted this. I am going to suggest perhaps you need to find another forum if you truly think that.

I don't think that this is fair at all. The only information that I've gotten that has turned out to be credible has been from this forum. Does anybody (without the ear of an insider) have another source of information?!?!
