Managed to get last minute tickets to Long Beach Grand Prix but need a hotel for the weekend. Track site hotels are full. Any suggestions for something within reasonable distance?

Want to share a room?

I have an extra bed at this point in the Renaissance Long Beach Hotel for Friday and Saturday nights. Not cheap but very well located and luxurious.

Two days is Total for stay (for all rooms) - 825.84
So for $200 a night basically. Parking is $20 per night.

Let me know. I don't snore. :)

I live in Long Beach, so I haven't sampled the hotels. But I'd be glad to give you a sense of the neighborhoods. The best hotels are by the site of the Grand Prix, of course. There are some decent hotels near the airport--a Holiday Inn and a Marriott. Freeways make a pretty clean drive from the airport area to the Grand Prix area.

I wouldn't recommend any hotel on Pacific Coast Highway, even the ones nearer 'nicer' parts of Long Beach.
