Anybody know how many (approx) Elises and Exiges have been sold worldwide? Ideally, I'd like to know how many of each.

I'll start. Three Elise in my area, but sadly 2 have been resold to other parties. That makes 3 Elise 0 Exige.

In about a year and a half of being in Chicago I have never seen an Exige of any kind on the street. I have seen 4 different Elises not including my own.

Another Input on Production Volume

2005 (US figures) = 2385

As I recall, the rest-of-world numbers were about the same, making the 2005 total come out close to 5,000.

Here's a press release headline from '05:

20,000th Lotus Elise Drives Off The Production Line

Lotus Press Release, 20,000th Elise Production Line
Within the past several months, I saw an article in which Mike Kimberly (CEO) stated that production capacity at Hethel was 65 cars per week. This indicates a normal current capacity of approximately 3400 cars per year. Anyone else have a similar recollection?
