Next friday my wife and I are leaving on a 3 week camping road trip from CA into Canada.

It may be a little ambitious because she is 20 weeks pregnant!

Excluding the (lack of) comfort concerns. We are concerned about the drone in the cabin which apparently might not be great for the child.

Does anyone know the Db rating of a Stage 2 in the cabin with the roof on?
If I swap it out for a standard muffler will it be much less drony?

Does anyone have one I can get really quickly? Im in Huntington Beach CA.

It doesnt look like this would fit. Can anyone confirm? (05 USA Toyota)

Is this off a K series?

Edit: Figured out its probably an Evora muffler.

I did some tests with a dB meter.

65-70dB Idle
80-85ish dB when cruising at 60-80mph
95dB when making it drone in high load.

Ill hunt down a stock muffler and see what that does.

I had a stock muffler on my car before switching to stage 2 about 2 months ago. I don’t have any dB readings, but stock muffler is wayyy less drony. So if it is a big concern for you, I think you’ll be pleased with the decreased exhaust noise changing back to stock. To be clear: I absolutely love my stage 2, drone and all;)

I don't know about the Stage 2. But for the stock muffler you can be on the highway and either have a conversation or listen to music but not both. My wife and I have done many multi-day trips and the stock muffler is OK for that.

I just picked up an 07 Exige S muffler. Its a lot bigger than the standard by the looks. Apparently its even quieter.

Hoping it fits!:|
