A couple weeks ago, a moron tried to get into my car (WITHOUT permission) by using the actual key hole. Now I can't get the door to open without using both the key pad AND the key. I know this is "supposed" to happen but I have no idea how to make it "normal" again, where I can unlock the door by ONLY using the key pad.

Help is appreciated.

I have no idea, and I'm certainly not gonna try it on my car, but did you try re-locking the same door with the key?
The elongated keyhole is supposed to be horizontal. If it vertical, put your key in, turn and remove the key.

lol. PPE did the same thing to my car when it was at their shop.

It's fairly simple... the lock mechanisms are independent of each other so in order to get them to function as "one" you need to make them either both locked or unlocked before pushing the button on the keyfob.
