all i see is, "a good lotus driver". He cares for the car, and doesn't want to see it scratched up. So he/she parks in one spot that will keep him/her away from the morons that park 3 inches away from you.

besides... that is one sick looking spot for everyone to take pictures of the car. Imagine how that picture would have turned out if it had a ford escort and a pt cruiser on either side :)

oh... and there is nothing better than enjoying your potbelly sandwich, and looking at the sexiest car around. :)

it looks like all the CO drivers have nothing better to do, but to be the first 3 to reply to the thread :)

Given the wing (isn't that the Reverie) and the stripes it shouldn't be too hard to figure out who this tool is.

You and I see two very different things here (and to be clear I think you're kidding). What I see is someone who is a total douchebag and is far more likely to have his car messed with vs. parking correctly/responsibly in the back of the lot. These are the types of drivers who (almost) deserve getting keyed.

I saw that this morning.

I dont know how anybody could park like that in clear conscience. I don't think I could park an even an original 427 cobra or vintage ferrari that way.

You have to park sideways like this when parking on handicapped spots, as handicapped people typically open their doors wider than normal. The higher the percentage chance of a door ding, the more sideways you have to park.

Maybe they were waiting for a passenger to get back with some sandwiches or maybe he was caught turning around?

I'm trying to give them the benefit of the doubt!

I find its best to park directly on the handicapped people as they make a good cusion to ensure my tires dont cet scraped by the hard pavement. I also like to buff my paint with panda cub hide. It really makes the car shine

I've seen pictures of this car before. He's just asking to have it messed with. Why would you want to park next to the handicapped spots? I'd be afraid they'd crash into it.

I am sure the car was parked and THEN the blue paint came out. Innocent until proven...uh, ... guilty?

That picture is wayyyy old. I remember seeing that quite a long time ago.

To his defense: Who's to say he didn't pull up to drop off a passenger?

Nice little article. Love the moron who thinks his "properly adjusted" mirrors are all he needs. We ALL get surprised in traffic with many different sized and paced vehicles. Motorcycles, scooters, what have you.

I let my clutch out slow when getting underway in the garage even thought I'm sure I'm in the proper gear. Because I know I'm not infallable.

Experience is what you get right after you needed it.

There was a thread about this pic a couple years ago and they figured out who it was. There was a story, something about dropping off a passenger or something. I remember that they searched to identify the Potbelly, so a search on that should pull up the thread.
