Being new to the Elise, can someone briefly explain the different iterations there have been for the Elise. I see threads talking about the S1 and S2 and S2.5. Also any pics of the different versions would be great :)

My understanding of the S2.5 is the new Euro version that just came out with: pw,pl, badge on the rear, new seats, dash trim, etc. Would assume most if not all of that would make into the Fed version with the airbags new motor and tranney that we'd get, which may be a S3.

I also heard the same thing and saw the pic of the 2.5 currently on sale in the U.K. I hope we get the 190-200 hp engine, preferably Toyota....the upgraded seats and some power features would be nice too (as long as they don't add too much weight).
