There seem to be several variants too

...we're getting about one of these spambots per day now - at least they're obvious, unlike the more insidious vague-posting linkfarmers using their signatures to game pagerank...

I wish - more like 4 or 5 but a lot get spotted by one of the mods before you see them

Usually we ban the user (and IP address) and delete the thread - but since there were so many responses here I thought I'd post an update

Actually you what we need to do is hit up random porn sites using their e-mails. Then the porn sites sell there e-mail lists to other spammers. In a short time they will be getting 50-100+ junk e-mails a day...

I used signed the support e-mail up for about 40 sites.... lets get as many people as we can to do it..
