Is the radiator fan controlled by ECU? Or any switch?

The stock fan turned on too late making the track water temp running high. Is there a way to turn on the fan earlier?

The fans are controlled by the ECU and his buddy the Fan Controller. The book says the fans are off above their stall speed of 80 MPH. You might have a bit of air in the system there are bleed screws front and rear.

Does your car still have A/C?
Turn on the A/C on the warmup lap and/or in the pits on the way to the track. This will trip the pressure switch which will turn on the fans. Then you can turn off the A/C and the residual pressure will keep the fans on for a short time (2 min or so).

Great idea mate, turning on the A/C in warm-up lap sounds great helping the 1st hot lap. But the subsequent laps...hmm...

Electric fan only functional during stop and go traffic and AC on. If you run above 35 mph, you don't need the fan to turn on or it would be the same.

I think you need to replace the thermostat, because it might not fully open.

It took me 30 minutes to check both bleeds, with no prior experience of the task on the car. Remove the front passanger wheel and the wheel well liner. You should see the bleed screw up at the top right next to the radiator. The second one is right next to the engine on the driver side.

Start the engine up and let it get up to normal temps (like 190 if you have stock thermostat in it). Then slowly twist open the bleeds until water comes out. Do that a couple times on both ends. Thats it.
