I'm looking at Lockton's multievent policies. If i'm reading right, they are good for a 'policy year.' The cost is non-refundable.

So you can buy 6 events at a discount compared to buying individually. But if you have to use coverage, its very unlikely the car will be back up and running for any more events for the year.

Thus, if you buy a '6-pack' and need to use coverage after the second event, you've thrown away money because you won't have a car back before the season is done (and the policy will expire with 4 events unused).

Maybe I'm missing something. Under what conditions does it make sense to buy a mutlievent policy?

That's the way I read it but I'm a pilot not a lawyer. I go event by event.
