Dear all:
I have tried to identify a solution, but alas, I give up and implore for help. Today I used my 2007 Lotus Elise Type D72. When I started the car, I did not have to press the fob button to allow the car to start. In some occasions the car wont start until I press the fob, but today I was able to start it from the get-go. I really like the peace of mind of having the engine kill be passively activated every time.
My car battery died a few weeks ago (its been stored for the winter). Does the engine immobilizer programing changes when this happens? Do I have o reprogram the system to passively arm?
