Hello,

is there a place close to or within Rockville that is safe to get a Lotus inspected. I have a car incoming from out of state and will need to get it inspected for registration purposes.

You could take it to Criswell Lotus in Gaithersberg. It's the only dealer near by that I know of. I heard the main Lotus tech (Adam I think) left and started his own company in the area. I can't remember the name of the place. He was pretty good!

You can go to Behe Performance, not in rockville but close enough I bet...They're the only place I'll take my car.
