Got those wing mirrors painted and installed after completely disassembling them in another post. They turned out great. I had to completely disect them to refinish them and even rejuvenate the black plastic color ( if you ever do this there is a product from SEM sold at auto body suppliers its professional plastic paint, the stuff is amazing for black plastic car trim).

Has anyone else done this, installed the newer mirrors on an older car? Im not certain if I have to get the never style mirror switch or I can mod the older style switch wiring to work them. My older style switch is shot, I adjusted them usign a 12 V battery, but would eventually like them to work by the switch. I noticed the mirrors I removed had four wires, these new ones have three, not counting the heater for the mirror that im obviously not using. I just need to know which switch I need to find. Im sure my electrical expertise can adapt the wiring if needbe.
