The amp won't overheat behind the seat... Some people install it in the trunk space, the cabin is much cooler. Plus, amps run pretty cool now-a-days.

I have a sub box mounted over the sensor. The sensor still works, although I turned up the sensitivity prior the installing the sub.

Unfortunately the pdx5 is no longer available... it's (Alpine) replacement depends on if you need 5 channels or not.
