I'm having an amp installed in my 2005 elise, I am thinking of having it mounted on the back shelf like I found in this picture. Will this block / mess up the motion sensor for alarm? Thanks!

Holy crap that's a big amp for such a small cabin!!
As stated above, will affect sensor.

Thats not the amp i'm getting, just something I saw on this forum. So I guess ill try to mount it behind the seat instead. The sensor is directly below the light or it is to the left of the light?

The Alpine PDX5 is the go to choice for our cars. If you don't need to put the seat all the way back, just mount it to the carpet behind the driver's seat.

Yeah I actually ordered the Rockford Fosgate R600X5 5 channel amp. Its actually smaller than the PDX-5 in width and height and 2 inches longer. Going to velcro behind the driver seat! Running it with the JL stealth box
