I'm sure you guys have noticed that there is no padding on the elbow area of the door's arm rest and the padding on the armrest between the seats is pretty thin. I think I'm going to have to do something custom to increase driving comfort (I am also installing a dead pedal, too)

In the picture attached, I photoshopped an arm pad. Before I task my upholster with this one, doe anyone else know of anyone else that has done this and is there any interest in me developing a stick-on solution for the rest of you?

No, and not really.

My elbow as searched for a spot to rest, and that location is not it. The only place my elbow tends to rest is on the window sill, which is too high to be comfortable also, but better than the door cubby.

elbow pad

I used a mouse pad (to prevent carpal tunnel) with velcro on the Elise. Make sure you get one filled with gel. I also used one on the center console for my bony knee.
