Hi,

My interior - or inside compartment - of my ’06 elise begins to squeak and make noises here and there. I believe it is the sound of the plastic bulkhead touching other plastic trim parts. Also the leather of the door cards begins to squeak against my sill. Especially when I ride over bumps gives it’s squeaking noises and some small rattles in the dash.

I am thinking about to reassembling a part of my interior and put foam tape between the plastic parts that are fitted to each other.

I was thinking about using this tape: [ame]http://www.amazon.com/15MM-Double-Sided-Molding-Attachment/dp/B0055B0SGK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1344350130&sr=8-1&keywords=foam+tape+automotive[/ame]

It looks like the tape that the factory is using to dampen the contact between the interior parts.

What do you guys think?
Is this the right tape for the job?
Thanks
