So today I get a call while in the Evora and my phone starts ringing in the glovebox instead of on the NAV unit. After rebooting the phone, power cycling the car, etc., I cannot get my iPhone 5 to pair anymore with my Alpine w505. This has never been a problem until now, and I just recently updated my phone to iOS 7.1.2. My guess is Apple broke this connectivity with however the Apline unit pairs. Anyone else having this issue?

Delete the paring and re-pair the phone to the HU?

I got a call yesterday in the car but it wasn't connected in the glovebox. Worked fine. I am running same iOS as you.

Try ejecting the nav unit and reinsert it. Works for me when my iPhone fails to synch

Whether it's Alpine or Pioneer, iPhone or Android, these units do sometimes unpare with the phone for seemingly random reasons. I'd go through the paring procedure to make sure.
