I got an iPod for X-mas with the FM transmitter.

I can't get the FM transmitter files to the iPod.

I'm using iTunes for the iPod, but the iTrip puts the necessary files into MusicMatch and Musicmatch won't recognize my iPod.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Check this out. Sounds like the problem is that the iTrip software hasn't been updated to work with iTunes. From that link:

For Mac users, it will copy the necessary frequency files (they are MP3's) into iTunes. For Windows users, it will copy them to MusicMatch. Right off the bat, this represented a problem for me, because although I'm a Windows user, I do not use MusicMatch. Instead, I am using the new iTunes for Windows. So, I had to manually create a folder and copy the files into it. Griffin assures me that a new Windows version of their setup software will be available in a couple of weeks.
So, access your iPod like a hard drive, and do a little research on the 'net as to what files need to be copied to what folder.

In my iPod the itrip files are under the playlist tab, there you can choose the freq to upload to your itrip.
HTH, lemme know if there is more.
cheers,
