I thought I saw it here but have searched and couldn't find this topic on Lotus Talk so will try to summarize what I've found for our records. If you've found another IPS shortcut, please add.

1. Hold right "+" paddle 3 seconds to return to Auto mode from Manual mode

2. Hold both paddles to drop to Neutral

3. In non-sport mode, 30 seconds after paddle activation it reverts to Auto mode (in sport mode it does not revert, see shortcut #1)

4. From Neutral or park, pull the right "+" paddle and it engages Drive.

5. ???

1,2,4 are in the manual....

3 is interesting, I'll have to try it later today
from Neutral, pull the right paddle and it engages drive.
I tried out from neutral to reverse by hitting the "-" paddle, didn't have luck with that. I'm not sure, anyone else have that one work/not work?

I hadn't tried that yet myself. I'll have to check it out tomorrow.

Tried this today, did not work for me. Makes sense that it should, but it does not.

can you shift from Neutral to Drive at speed or will it only put it in 1st gear in which case you can only do it at a stop or close to a stop without frying the engine

Yep, doesn't work. I edited the top list.

i have only done it stopped - at stop lights i often stick it in neutral so i don't need to brake

I have shifted from drive to N at speed, but not the other way around. Not sure I want to try that simply because I am not sure what gear it would select. I did notice in Sport mode and stopped, going from N and pressing the + will go to D than one more press puts it in 1st.
None of that works for mine, its a Lotus its "hand made". The "hand" that was suppose to be working on that part of the car during manufacturing was unavailable that day, but the "hand" that installed the horn got it working great!
shifting from N to gear at speed works. I did it yesterday when traveling about 15 miles an hour (just in case) and it shifted straight into D2
I've just recent found that from park you can hold the '+' paddle and be switched to drive. So this feature isn't exclusive to being in neutral first.

same as from neutral i guess

That worked today from Park!. Actually a really nice feature. I cant get it to go into neutral at speed though, maybe that will start working next week?
I was just reading in another forum that some of the shortcuts are "press and hold". They only activate if you hold the paddle for more than 2 seconds, which might explain why some of you are saying some shortcuts didn't work on their car.
newest analysis:

why is my IPS sometimes switching in Sport mode to "D"?

Answer: it might be, that the paddles do not contact as they should.

This means: after shifting I have to push back the paddle towards the board to avoid, that the paddle infos the system, that I would switch into D. (the 2 seconds effect)

So I will bath the paddles in WD40 and hope, that they work as they should now.

I could immagine, that possibly the sunheat effects the paddles, so that the contact is not perfect.
Sounds like a logical analysis. Does it seem sticky? Mine has a definite click and return.
the softness of the IPS seems to work well with the hard wired direct connection that the rest of the car has with the road - at least imo!
