I can't think of many cars, especially used that I would buy sight unseen, unless the price was so ridiculously low as to offset any possible disappointments/misrepresentations.

Used Lotus Elise especially so.

Where is the car in Texas? Between Austin, San Antonio, Houston and Dallas, we have a very large Lotus community. I'm sure that someone could go look at the car for you. If the car is in Austin, I'd be happy to check it out for you.
