Guess it depends if Toyota is willing to offer an engine/gearbox combo package with LSD to Lotus.
Then it will be a 'regular' option on the price list for any car.
Any LSD unit that needs to be installed separately will most likely always be part of the Lotus-Motorsport parts offering. Aka. installed after the car has been finished and has come off the main production line and then driven to the Lotus Motorsport building for modification.
Trying one is very high on my list. But we are lifting the wheel off the ground. Only a clutch type LSD or an Electronic wheel spin limiting device can solve that one. ala Porsche Boxster
So, until the wheelspin issues cannot be solved or limited with bar and shock we just don't know. It's not impossible and the car isn't that far off.
We need time to sort the car out.
I think Lotus wants to accommodate us but it may take some time.
