Nah - it's a sh*tty global economy.

The toys are the first things to go and frankly, niche players with no panache (unknowns) are having a tough go. Fortunately, Lambo and Ferrari are known and have the emerging markets to thank for their 'success'

Yes, that segment of the market is pretty-much name-value driven.

It doesn't hurt that they have huge corporate parents (VAG and Fiat, respectively) either.
