I have been calling around and netting looking for a decent deal. I have 3 cars:
Rav 4 (2011)
mr2 spyder (2001)
and now a 07 elise.

Every place I go is like 2000 a year, thats 666 or so per car. The Elise alone is like $700 added on.

I dont drive two cars at once LOL. Doesn't any insurance company allow a vehicle to be added that does not touch the road often? Hagerty does not even allow me to add a toyota so that is no good.

My wife and I are near 40. Any suggestions ( No vets here ).

I'm with Geico, and it is $150 a month for 4 vehicles:

2013 Ford Escape (wifes car) (full coverage)
2005 Lotus Elise (my daily) (full coverage)
1991 Subaru legacy (street legal race car) (liability only)
1995 Ford E350 (tow vehicle) (liability only)

The Subaru and the Ford are listed as pleasure vehicles that only get about 2000 miles a year. I am 26 and the wife is 25.

You daily your Elise?!? Nice! I did that my first year, it went fine except the sticky tires caused sore forearms after a week or so.

Your rates will be lower if you limit miles per year on a vehicle.

I set miles per day to 5 for both mr2 and Elise. Elise is my pleasure but its more then the mr2? I could lower it to 1 mile a day.

Travelers seems to have a real pleasure discount. Got it down to 1700 a year. Looks like most other places give you like a 10/20 % discount on a pleasure vehicle. That is not really helping much...

Geico here. $1200/year with following coverage:

2006 Lotus Elise (<5000 miles year)
2014 Range Rover Evoque (primary, >10000 miles year)

Minimums on everything. $500 deductible.

Have you considered storage insurance? State Farm for me is about $15/mo when I am not driving. If I know I'll be driving, they just need a short notice and they'll prorate the full coverage ($150/mo).
