Good afternoon,

Concerning lift point D, at the rear of the vehicle. Any objections to normal jack stands? Looks like it would be better to use regular jack stands as opposed to flat tops. (See below for photos). From HowTunes photos it looks like they will work fine with D as long as you take off the underbelly which I plan to do. I am going to be ordering some flat tops, but if I can get away with buying 2 I want to do that as they are pricey. I have tons of jack stands like the first photo, just no flat tops.

Anything else I should address while the car is lifted and pans removed? I plan on doing Oil Change, New Tires and possibly upgrade brakes. Going to take the wheels off and drop em off to get new rubber, don't want the hassle of explaining how to lift the Elise to a mechanic. .

Also any suggestions for flat top jacks would be great.

In addition to the flat tops for the front, I ordered these for the rear, which can work ok for a flat spot as well as interface well with that rear support:
