Flew out from California on a wing and a prayer with only a couple bags of luggage and sheer determination. It's cold out here, and I'm ****ing tired, but still going strong.

I'm always looking to make new friends. If anyone here is chill and could use a new friend or brother let me know!

Thanks to everyone for the support so far!

I'm already forced to represent my home state here. The feds are cutting off water supplies to farms in SoCal next month. That's not chill. My family used to farm the land in SoCal, till the government stole it from us, heh. But it may have been the local/state govy!

In any case... What the ****?!?!?!

Don't you people realize we grow the best food and the best pot in this damn nation!

The Dept of Interior needs to push the subsea water pipeline project from Alaska to Cali. Army and Marine Corp of Engineers are down to rebuild this country. We're ready to Peace out of Iraq.

The Lotus Ltd DC gang is very active, and friendly. The interests run the whole spectrum: show cars, vintage racing, track events, touring, dinner gatherings, informal drives... Occasionally they even let people me visit and hang out.;)

Welcome!

Watch for threads on gatherings ...Meets 'n drives, just meets, spirited drives and all sorts of events around the area in the MidAtlantic Regional Forum. I keep a shortcut direct to it, in my favorites.

When the weather warms, we all come out and crawl out of our respective hibernating spaces, and you won't find a nicer, friendlier more "chill" group of Lotus Owners anywhere (if I do say so myself). :coolnana:

I've seen some of us go well out of our ways on a moments notice, to lend a hand, a spare part, a lift or just an extra wrench to turn to a brethren owner, and some of the shows & events out here are really well attended. I think you'll settle in (and hopefully warm up too) soon, just fine.

If you ever need anything - just drop a line!

Welcome to the Region!
More friends to play with!! ...Yeay!!! :)

Cheers,
-Grant

Where abouts are you around here? There's a fair bit of us here.
hey, just came back from the Caps game - we won of course.

Seriously, Welcome to the area.

If u havent decided where to live: choose Va. if you like to smoke and you lean towards Sarah Palin (Arlington Cty excepted); choose the Free State if you're more Obama/Pelosi. Oh yeah, Va. has farrrr hotter chicks. Not even close. Maryland is crazy ugly.

Come see my band, and remember to tip us well.

Finally: stay away from mp3moose; he drives crazy. ;)

VA cops are the WORST!!!! >>> Yes, they are. And of course the no radar detection deal is a huge pain is positively absurd.

But I stand by my other points!!!

From what I've noticed, all the hot girls from both MD and VA converge on downtown DC when they're out looking good. So it doesn't really matter where I choose to settle down, so long as I spend most my time in the city.

And by god! Let me tell you... There are some really cute girls out here! I expected **** for girls, coming from California (where we almost have a monopoly on hot girls). But DC aint bad at all. Already got me a few hunnies in this area :D

There also seems to be a shortage of real men out here. The girls are REALLY horny!!!

Welcome to the area. I'm north of Baltimore so our paths may not cross too often, but if you ever need a hand turning a wrench or whatnot, post up on the forum and if I can, I'll be there! I'm always up for meeting new people and learning/helping to work on cars.

Like Scrumpot said, keep an eye out for meets, drives, cars & coffee, etc. When the weather gets nicer, there seems to be no shortage of things to do around here.
