Praise be. Normally I wouldn't post over something like this, but I had to learn morse code, count, and remember to push a bunch of buttons while wondering how much life I was taking off my ignition switch. But it's done!!
Next step is bypass, but for right now, it's active arming. Sent my C-tek battery tender into overdrive (warm) because of the smaller battery (PC-625) and the intercooler fans running with ignition on, and screwing up the process a few times.

active arming is when your immobilizer DOES NOT come on automatically after 30 seconds...(or whatever it is).

it never comes on at all, unless you push the big button to set the alarm. The reason it's a big deal for me - besides the annoyance of having to disarm it every time i get in the car - is that I'm running a smaller battery with the clam hinge in there. I need to minimize my parasitic current loads in the car.
