I really enjoyed reading your blog. What an adventure!
I had a blast, in spite of the occasional hiccup.

Next time I find myself in SF and I email you asking if you want to get together, PLEASE don't tell me when your next Laguna Seca track day is. I'd hate to see myself planning Laguna Seca, Buttonwillow, and Firebird or something like that.:grin2:

Dang you came right through my neck of the woods as I am in Henderson most of the time. Great blog, thanks for sharing!

Although I am a native New Mexican I have lived in Henderson for 8 years and disagree with you on all your comments about Nevada and Las Vegas but most people don't get out and do much here so they don't understand why they call it one of the outdoor capitals of the world. Like I say though great blog and most of it I agree with, but there is a ton of beauty here that's hard to see past the casinos and drunks. 12,000 foot peak right outside of town that even has a ski area. Hummm you can ski and golf the same day.

Sorry I was harsh regarding Vegas. I generally try to write about what I do rather than what I think/believe.

That said, I think it's good that we're all interested in different things and have different tastes. What a boring world we'd live in if we all liked the same things. I would hope that folks who live in the Vegas area like the place; it would suck to have to live somewhere that you don't like. My buddy Chris is quite happy in Henderson. It's just not for me :)

I've lived in Colorado for 37 years and don't ski, lived in Phoenix for 12 and don't golf. Skiing and golfing the same day holds zero appeal for me. :grin2:
