Hey all, I figured rather than perusing through 2400 posts, we could post on each individual event. Feel free to post any pre and post related issues for the upcoming grand opening event of the 2009 year.

I'll be leaving from downtown LA early that morning. Going to BW people used to meet at the Starbucks right after Six Flags, but Willow is so close I don't know where people stop and meet up. I'm up for whatever :)

Going to be fun event, be great to meet everyone in person. Yesterday at Streets was having a tough time learning the track, me gots no rhythm there at all. Frustrating but a good experience nonetheless. That whole middle part between the hill and the bowl I could never get really on it, felt like a lot of modulation to setup properly for the bowl entrance. Matt was a great instructor yesterday and is now our official LCS instructor, he's great I highly recommend him. I have some video I'll put up later -

Every class is going to have some stiff competition everyone was pretty fast at Jack's day yesterday

Are we running the exact same config that we ran at the LCS event last year? I will need to dial out the understeer at SOW - my car simply wasn't set up for it last time I was there.

kaz, what were your times?

Did you follow anyone's lines? I followed Tim's line which helped me a ton...

I've got slight understeer as well...also have to adjust ride height. I was rubbing pretty hard on the bowl...car is too low.
I know we're running CW...I'm assuming with the bowl, etc...

My AIM timer was not picking up the beacon most of the day for some reason except two sessions, I got a 29 in the morning then a 28 after lunch, then had 3 more sessions but no timing, and then my brakes were weird so...I have no idea. I never had a "clean" lap where I didn't do something really wrong lol - there's lots of time in the bowl and the chicane I am leaving on the table, and that whole middle section was confusing. Again though Matt was wonderful - I like his general approach to everything, I would have been lost in the dirt without his help.

Jim, I was curious....since there will be only 25 Lotus' at the track, what will be the format?
Do we just go out on the track whenever we want...or are there sessions?
Finally, when is the TT?
