Hey guys, not sure if anyone is interested but I have a 2007 Storm Titanium Lotus Elise that I am thinking of letting go. My wife is now 4 months pregnant and it's pure fun to drive but unpractical in every way with a baby coming, even as a second car. The 36-month lease started on July 27 '07 and put a $20,000 down payment. Lease payments are $830.54 per month after tax and with a residual of $34,500. No accidents or stories. These are the specs and what I paid:

2007 Lotus Elise
Color: Storm Titanium

Engine: 2ZZ-GE dohc 16V, inline-4
Layout: Mid Engine / Rear Drive
Transmission: 6-speed manual
Power: 190hp (141kW) @ 7800rpm
Torque: 138lb ft (181Nm) @ 6800rpm

Brake System:
f&r 11.1-in. drilled & vented discs, with ABS

Suspension:
Front-upper & lower A-arms, tube shocks, coil springs, anti-roll bar
Rear-upper & lower A-arms, tube shocks, coil springs

Option Packages:

* Base Elise6 ($59900.00)
* Transportation Costs (DL) ($1415.00)
* PDI Costs($395.00)
* Storm Titanium ($725.00)
* Touring Pack (TP) ($1660.00)
* Premium Pack (PP) ($855.00)
* Black Pack ($350.00)

Optional Equipment:

* Leather, Black
* Hard Top (HT) ($1815.00)
* Starshield (SS) ($1225.00)
* Traction Control (TC) ($610.00)
* Elise Special Interior ($1590.00)

Aftermarket Upgrades:

* JVC KD-NX5000 ($999.00)
* Aluminum Stalks ($90.00)
* Black/Silver Badges ($150.00)
* Carbon Fiber CAI ($400.00)
* Carbon Fiber Front Splitter ($500.00)
* Xenon Driving Lights ($500.00)

Total Amount: $73,179.00 + taxes.

I would like $13,000 back from my original deposit and I will also include the aftermarket upgrades at no cost. No Trades. PM me with any questions.

Hi,

Im assuming from your avi that you are from Vancouver.
I would be interested; however, I think the price you are asking is fairly unreasonable. I know the Weissach just sold a 07 used elise for $47,000.00 with 4,500km. Thats a $13,000 drop not including taxes. Your only knocking off $7,000.00...

Cheers

Yes, i am taking $7k less from the down payment but also have added almost $3k in aftermarket upgrades. I may be willing to negotiate a little on the down payment but not by thousands and it would also depend on my wifes approval as she's pushing me to keep it as she knows how much it means to me :p

M!!: There are currently 9000km's on the car and counting...

All pm's have been responded to, and thanks for the interest! :coolnana:

Not in Canada but curious if like the US this is an open ended lease like we have here from certain dealers or more like a traditional closed end lease?
