Hey all,

Saw a scuff today on the side of my seat which is annoyed the living daylights out of me. My leather is Cognac Brown. Have any of you done leather though ups on your car and more importantly have any of you guys done touch up on cognac brown? Need advice mainly on where I can get leather touch up for my interior

As well as any brands for leather touch up paint and matching colors to cognac brown would be greatly appreciated

This looks like abrasion damage, and usually can be well repaired by any quality leather restorer/dyer specialist. Using color matched leather staining......Have had many car and home leather chairs/seats done and always satisfied with results. Do Bing or yellow pages (I know, dinosaur......!) search for your area to find specialist services. Good luck; also photo of finished repair would be nice.........

I had similar wear marks on my drivers side seat, and I have the oyster interior, so it shows wear easily. I e-mailed the dealer and they suggested that I send some pics of the seat and that is what I did. Lotus coverd the seat under warranty, but they did not repair the wear mark, they replaced the entire back half of the seat! Even the dealer was surprised at this. So I suggest attempting the same with your dealer and see what they say. If you like, PM me and I can send you my conversation through e-mail if that will help.

LEATHERIQUE!!! This just needs to be redyed and preserved. Seats are fine. Finish just needs to be redone periodically. Many leather car seats need periodic work.

This happened to my drivers seat as well. My dealer contacted Lotus and they sent out a repair kit; not sure what that included. Probably hard pressed to get a full replacement. If the problem persists or gets worst then I will just have to seats and dash wrapped again.
