Got my notice for the May 2 Lewes Del. British Car Day. Have been to two previous shows and anticipated going again this year. Nice drive through Maryland's eastern shore and delaware to a great show site near the beach.

Appears though that this year the show is limited to cars built 2000 or earlier. The location is such that they cannot expand the space, and the number of cars has expanded to the point that they're cutting off at MY 2000.

Too bad, it was great seeing John, Rich, and Iggy at last year's show.

I was pretty disappointed when I saw that on the mailer last week. I was looking forward to having the car over in Delaware again. It was a great reason to drive it over and stay at the beach for the weekend. Guess I'll just have to find another excuse!

I went to this show a number of years ago when they did a Lotus feature. It was a nice setting and it was particularly fun because the class winners drove from the show area to downtown to recieve their award in front of a crowd. I think the mayor did the presentation. My Six won for the Lotus class. It was fun, but too far away for me to go every year.

Was thinking of doing a combination drive and skydive invitational to you-all here as well. - Frick.

Oh well. The 1st Annual Drive & Skydive, Skydiving invitational for the same time-slot can still be on though. We could go to take a peek at the show (have our own visitors parking-area section show of our own!) - then blast down some of the back-roads I know that work there way past Georgetown, on down to Laurel, DE - where I Load Organize for skydiving (and may just 1st-time jumper instruct this year as well) - and we can make a REAL adventure out of it!

What would you all say? Any takers?
