Finally I am thrilled to finally be a lotus owner! Picked up this 05 graphite gray beauty just a few days ago right in my backyard in Tampa!

I bought from the meticulous original owner with 19k miles who kept up with the services and recalls, and it got a clean bill of health at Sarasota lotus.

This is my 5th mid-engine car, after an X1/9 and 3 mr2's...the mk1 supercharged was always my favorite and I considered the nsx and cayman but this was the natural choice, just had to find the right one.

Well I had time only for a short sunday drive, now I can't stop smiling! :D

See you "out there" !
Jeff

Congratulations! My first choice for color was the Graphite Gray also but then someone contacted me about a 2005 Storm Titanium Elise he was selling. I've had it a month now and am enjoying every second.

Congrats on the car!! All you need is a hat :). How would you compare it to the NSX? (basically my second pick over the Elise). I've always wanted to know how it fares.

Congrats
Personally I believe that Storm Titanium with red interior is the fastest color out there. But I might be biased and Graphite Gray is very close to StTi :D

Thanks,
I'll see if I can make the Orlando drive. The pic is from my phone right at the end of my test drive, the car looks huge and I look tiny, good thing I don't own a super duty f-350, lol. Have not driven the NSX, for years I thought that would be next after the mr2 turbo and supercharged but I just couldn't find one in decent shape and miles for a reasonable price, for what the lotus cost Would buy a 23 year old car with over 100k miles. I did drive a cayman s a few months ago and really liked the overall balance, it could be a daily driver, but then saw an Elise and met some of the local lotus tampa group last fall and that started me on the lotus path!

I have had an mr2 since 97, when from mk1 to mk3. I still have the spyder. I was going to go for the mk4 until they made the decision to go green. This is what untimely turned me towards the Elise.

Congrats! You are definitely living in the right state for a Lotus. I visited the small Lotus dealership in Sarasota last Thanksgiving when we were vacationing there at Turtle Beach. Wish I lived down there, we could take some drives!

Enjoy!
Nice weather but its called flattera for a reason. Very few fun roads but they do exist. Though always fun to drive on the beach and watch rubber neckers walk in to each other. If you dont mind the sand clean up after.
