Hello guys! I am going to be purchasing an Elise in the next 30 days and I haven't actually driven one yet! I am looking for a generous person to give me my first ride in one. From what I read on here, once you ride in one you are hooked, so I need to get hooked! If any of you guys are willing please let me know! I live in Johnson county and would be more than willing to meet at a place that is convenient for you.

New Owner.

Hi fellow KC'ers! My name is Jay and I am the proud owner of a 2005 BRG Elise. I bought this car off the boards from an attorney in Houston. Its in great shape and I am really happy with the car and the deal I was able to get. I live in Lenexa around K10 and K7, so you may see me out and about. I have had the car 1 week and this past weekend I spent it doing an oil change, wash, claybar and wax as well as cleaning the rear diffuser of oil and grease. I hope there is a local meet or track day coming up soon. I also joined the facebook page, I think. Actually I am not sure if I did or not, I became a "fan" is that the same thing?

Well anyway, see you guys around town.

congrats and welcome to Lotus ownership.

if you don't have plans, you may want to check out the british car show out by KCI on labor day weekend i think.

we were there last year and saw a great collection of 7s, other Loti as well as some other rare marques. AC coupe, Sunbeam Imp, etc.

as always, there were wonderful people there.

hope you enjoy your Elise as much as we do!
