And it is already gone. Seems like the market price could be pushed even higher. I considered pushing the buy it now button. It would be worth 10 grand to stop being obsessed by this car and ticked off at waiting.

I think you'd have to confirm it with the buyer & seller and be convinced their not in cahoots with one another. Lots of ebay stuff is fake.

I don't doubt that an Elise in hand is worth >$50k right now. There are plenty of people wealthy enough to pay a $10k premium to avoid a >1 year wait.

Come to think of it, I qualify for that statement. I'm moderately confident that I could save a bundle buying a used Elise next year, but I'd rather pay a premium to get it sooner.
