Good find.

A very sharp looking Evora. I think this should generate some interest in Lotus.

There is an Evora in 'Swinging with the Finkels' , available on Netflix. Only a small role but still great to see the Lotus brand in a reasonably funny movie.

If you consider teasers usually show most of exciting scenes from a movie, Evora get a premium role in The Host.
I get some pict extract from the teaser here, and the chrome color is really astonishing!

The down side is that we'll be seeing a few more of these fruggly chrome Evora.

We know all things "futuristic" are chrome or stark white:ST:

Here is the release from Lotus:

Just released, the trailer for what is being billed as the next big Sci-Fi film The Host, features none other than our own motoring celebrity, the Lotus Evora.

'The Host', is the latest book by Twilight author Stephanie Meyer and is being tipped as the next big screen blockbuster for Sci-Fi fans. The story charts the battle of main character Melanie Stryder (Saorise Ronan) to save the Earth from alien invasion.

Alongside Ronan (Atonement, The Lovely Bones), the film co-stars Diane Kruger (Troy, National Treasure) and William Hurt (The Incredible Hulk), but its the Lotus Evora that takes a leading role - as the enemy's weapon of choice.

Five press cars were wrapped in chrome for the ultimate Sci-Fi look, which was filmed on location in L.A. Dont wait until the film is released in March to see the mirror-finished cars, you can see them in the action-packed trailer by pasting the following url into your browser:

You can also follow The Host on facebook for more updates on this project http://www.facebook.com/#!/thehostmovie

I would think a chrome Evora would cause a ton of accidents from:

1.) People actually thinking that an alien spaceship was indeed driving around (given the level of gawking at a "normal" Evora)
2.) Blinding them by reflecting the sun in their eyes (maybe that's how the aliens in the movie use it as a "weapon")

And from William Hurt's impressive career as an actor they pick . . . "The Incredible Hulk"? That's like saying "also starring Barack Obama (Harvard Law Review)".
