bastardsThe Lotus Exige LF1 is available to customers in all Global markets (excluding the USA).
Imported and registered, but still not federally legal. Eligible to be seized and crushed and to have any insurance claims denied. I wouldn't brag too loudly on internet forums that you have a grey market car. Lately the Feds like to make examples of people.I got a 2009 Exige Cup 260 imported and registered in the US... Hmmm
But think how much safer our roads will be.bastards
Don't just blame federal crash standards. Dany and Coco knew full well what the standards were and redesigned the car without regard to them. The initial planned V6 Exige intended to come from the Exige GT3 show car would have been federal compliant (except for perhaps the new air bag requirement that came up since).yeah, thanks federal crash standards! Glad to know I won't hit one of these new cars and possibly injure the driver unlike all those other guys wearing helmets and straddling a rocket!
