Erv posted the details of the Lotus Fall Tour in the Lotus Corps Thread near the top of the page some time ago. We currently have 21cars that have RSVP'd for the weekend. This weekender is not a constant high speed event, although GW did set a personal best last year in his Elise at 133.

The tour makes about five stops at interesting places along the way on both Friday and Saturday, and we have group dinners both night (order off the menus with separate checks). This is a social weekend with one big twist. The roads are a lot of fun, tend to be very rural with no lines down the middle and cocktails are involved at the end of the days.

There is no limit to the amount of cars that can participate, but we would like an RSVP to insure that we have enough route packages. If you want to attend, please send me an email (not a PM) to [email protected]).

Here is an update and a request regarding the upcoming Fall Tour. Four things to note:
1. Note a change in Friday night dinner plans. Due to proximity, and Barb's concern over driving after drinking, we are having dinner at Giovanni's which is next door to the Comfort Inn in Rockford. It is a fine dining restaurant, but they offer a Friday fish fry for $9.95.
2. We will be departing both Friday and Saturday morning promptly at 9:15 sharp. If you are running late call Barb's cell at 312-244-0636 and we can leave your route package at the restaurant or hotel.
3. The Round Barn is sold out for Saturday night. Alternate places to stay are listed below. The Comfort Inn in Rockford still has rooms for Friday night.
4 On Saturday night, we will be hosting a hospitality room at the Round Barn with a "baggie raffle" to help defray expenses. If you have room and want to contribute any little "white elephant" or Lotus related trinkets, please bring them along. The baggie raffle tickets with cost 25 cents each, and winning tickets are chosen from the bag in front of each item. The proceeds will be used to defray the costs related to the tour.

Alternate lodging options for Saturday night (we have not verified that they still have rooms):

• Spring Valley Inn - 608-588-7828
• The Usonian Inn - 608-588-2323
• House of the Rock Resort - 608-558-7000
• The Hill Street B&B - 608-558-7751
