:: SPRING MOUNTAIN MOTORSPORTS RANCH - PAHRUMP, NV
:: OCTOBER 13TH AND 14TH 2012

Event Info: Round 6 of the Lotus Cup USA championship will be held at Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch, Pahrump, Nevada. This track may be the nicest track you will ever visit west of the Mississippi, bar none. Lotus Cup participants will have access to all the Spring Mountain Country club amenities (fitness center, pool/jacuzzi, racquet ball court, gun range, putting green, private club house) and a smooth-as-glass track surface with a state-of-the-art corner lighting system. :)

We will be running the 3.1 track configuration and all Lotus Cup participants will be allowed to "paddock" their cars in the member's upper paddock area. Guests of Lotus Cup will also have access to the member's clubhouse throughout the weekend. We will have all our driver's meetings and our catered lunches in the member's clubhouse

Garages: There are no garages available for rental at Spring Mountain.

Spec Tire: ALL race group drivers are required to compete on the Yokohama Tire Advan A005 Racing Slick (S01 or S04 compound). All tires must be purchased through Trackside Performance (your team/shop can purchase tires for you through Trackside. They must provide a drivers name when ordering). Trackside will be present at Spring Mountain and can deliver your tires to the track as well as take care of your mounting/balancing needs trackside, all gratis (but you can leave a tip in my garage, #16, if you'd like ;))

Please contact Troy or the Trackside Performance sales team at 949-589-5394 no later than 2 PM, October 9th if you'd like them to bring tires up to Spring Mountain.

Spec Tire Price = 190/580R16 (F) = $280 per tire, 230/625R17 (R) = $330 per tire. Excludes tax and shipping.

My favorite config! I'm bringing the Green Monster while Sector111 concentrates on their BAC production so it'll be like ol' times. BTW - I'm paid up. Looking forward to good times and LOTS of laps this weekend

Lotus Cup Round 6 DINNER

Hello Everyone-

We are trying to put together a group dinner for Saturday evening and would like to invite everyone from the Lotus Cup.

Dinner will be at the "LBS Burger" inside the Red Rock Hotel and Resort only 45 minutes from SMMR.
http://http://lbsburger.com

I have not seen the schedule yet for Saturday, but I would assume a 6:30 or 7pm dinner would work well and we will determine this when the schedule is published.

Please RSVP here or to me at [email protected] if you are interested in joining the fun!

looking forward to a great weekend!

Thanks Jim, Robbie and sponsors for a great event. All worked out well with clean racing and no incidents.
Really appreciate the early races at 2:30 and 3:00.
Great job Jack winning both races.
Dave McMillan def gets most improved in my book - running faster and faster in the Evora GT4, that thing is a beast!
Jack can you post fast times of the last race?

Great race weekend everyone! Thanks to the LCUSA, Lotus, all our great sponsors, Robbie and Jim!

Of course I am biased, but SMMR is one of the best stops on the tour every year!!

Congratulations to everyone for keeping it clean and still racing hard!

Thanks, Eddie. I echo yours and Robb's comments regarding the event. It was well run and Spring Mountain is a fantastic venue.

A big THANK YOU to all our sponsors, Jim and especially Robbie -- great to have him back from his European travels (no doubt a tax deductible trip, as I'm sure Robbie was scouting new tracks for Lotus Cup USA to run in 2013 ;))

And, just for Eddie .... "fast times for Race 2" .....:shift:

Jack can you post the sheet that lists all laps from the race. Thanks:wave:
Brent would you care to explain how a bone stock Elise is only 2 sec behind the modded 211's?!?
If you would be so kind as to post your vid of the fast lap (I would like to take some notes) :)
Insane!

Great to see you all this weekend at this beautiful track. Thanks everyone who helped get the Green Monster back on the track in short order - especially Eric and Brent who came through with the parts and John who really hustled getting them on. Driving the old NA Elise was like putting on a great old pair of dancing shoes - they might not be as slick, but they sure feel great!

Thanks Robbie, Jim, Lotus USA and all our generous sponsors - and of course, Sector 111, my generous sponsor, for making it happen! Let's keep the good times rolling, don't you think!? Register for ACR please!

Glen you're a monster driver.
I especially enjoyed your off track bumper car excursion :)
Do yourself a favor - drop a stock motor in your green monster and join spec class - where the real men are at.
