Caveat that I have had a Lotus in the garage (Exige) for years. I know that maintenance adds up. But I wasn't expecting this. So this is a short vent, that is all.

First service on the Evora GT today - (762 miles on the clock). Which should be oil, filter, ECU dump, and basic "inspection" check up. $900!

I'm quickly remembering why I split my Exige services between my garage, and local specialists. Might look outside the dealer network for future service as long as I can do that and keep the warranty.

Picture because posts are just better with pictures.

Great looking car.

Wow that is really high. I didn't realize the pricing varied by that much on the first service.

Would definitely do follow up services on my own.

What'd your first service run? And where? Maybe I should add a poll.

Great photo.
Here was the breakdown of my first service. I bought the car used with 1k miles and always want to know that stuff has been done and my starting point:
Ferrari/Lotus/Bentley of Denver:

Engine oil and filter - Mobile 1 0W40
Brake Fluid and Clutch Flush - Ate200 Fluid
Trans/Gearbox Flush - RedLine MTL
Air cabin filter change - OE
Engine Air Filter - OE

Total $956.65
- Lotus Club Discount of: $92.47
Total: $ 875.43

It might be me but when I see Ferrari Lotus Bentley I immediately see $$$ over Joes Garage Service prices

Wow, $900 for those few items seems like the dealership is charging $400/hr labor rates.

Engine and Cabin air filter change at 1000 miles? Unless you've been running a off-road rally sounds like unnecessary charges. I would have asked to see them. Either way I would contest them.

Again, I want to know my starting point when buying used. For me, doing all this gives me confidence that I know everything has been, not only done, but also looked over by me or someone local that I trust.
JMHO.

My 1000 mile was $384, for oil, filter, drain plug and inspection. They looked at air filter but didn't replace it.

Say or think what you will but they have treated me well! Car was under warranty at that time. They had helped me while I was considering a new GT and spent a lot of time and patience with me. When I bought used instead of new from them, the least I could do was support my local dealer with their knowledge and committment to the Lotus Brand.
These relationships are very valuable to me.

People, experience, and knowledge are worth supporting. From what many other's have said about their lack of access to a good local Lotus Dealer, I will continue to support and be grateful for such a great dealer as FBLOD.

That's what it costs in my neck of the woods - NY metro. There are many sites which claim to list average costs for things like oil changes for exotic cars, but they don't seem to gel with what owners report on various forums, e.g., these sites say $600-$100 for a Ferrari, and maybe that's true if you could literally just get your oil changed, but the average owner seems to indicate they never leave a shop for less than $2k. Rolls' sites show $650 - which is ludicrous - as the average owner seems to say $3,500.

Wow, I have not bought a new car in a long time but I thought that a certain number of miles/months was covered by the manufacturer. We have a 2019 Porsche Macan and just brought it to the dealer for it's 2 year maintenance. $0. That's right, nothing, zero, fully covered. Oil change, brake flush, cabin air filter, inspection. I guess Lotus helps it dealers out by letting them charge their own rates and pass it on to the customer. Lotus should learn from Porsche now that they are moving into a larger production era with the Type 131!

I am not surprised. Lotus of Princeton charges $300 for an oil and filter service.

Ditto on the color, beautiful. Love these cars in green.

I have the same flag up as well, though the green is a better match for your car than mine. Also if you're anal, an iron will help with the wrinkles in the flag, just not too high temp because it's some sort of polyester.
