I've been thinking about going out to Las Vegas sometime later this month.

Anyone interested in putting together a group to drive out to Vegas together? I think we can have two meet points (one in LA, one in IE), and caravan out together.

I was thinking about a one night stay trip (perhaps over a weekend).

I am assuming you have driven to Vegas before from Socal. This time of year...in an Elise (with crappy OE AC)...that does not sound like fun.

For what its worth...Pahrump is about the same distance and there is a fantastic track there

+1. if you open the top, it's too hot such that you will get sunburn and bake for real. if you use soft/hard top, the interior temperature will soar so high (even with AC), you will feel like in an oven. both options are not OK. Better with luxury cars to go to LV at this time of the year.
