Lotus Logo question, one more time

I know many of you don't much like the "Lee Press On Letters" (think press on nails) version of the Lotus logo. I'm not a fan of the decals myself, but visually i like the letters.

The question is, if the logo were letters like this, would you like them?

Yes! The decals will fall off piece by piece.
I agree with Chris - they're too difficult to clean and wax.
I'd stick with decals. May even peel them off.
I was thinking of taking the stickers off then having the "LOTUS" painted on in a slightly dark color than my paint with larger letters. That way it's still there but more of a "ghost" effect so that it's not very noticable. Or maybe the same color as the paint job but with a flat paint. That might look pretty cool.
That lettering is ok I suppose, but I would have preferred the lettering that is molded into the body. That won't fill with wax, and won't fall off. Either that, or leave the lettering off altogether. Just one more opinion. -- Rene
I like the raised letters. You can remove wax easily with a soft toothbrush.

Great idea! Subtle but way cool.

Thats not a photo-shop? Pity they couldn't put the lettering on straight then!
I'm with Chris too! All the Porsches I've ever ordered I delete the designation, it is just a pain to clean around. I want to be driving, not using Q-tips at the weekend.
I think the lettering Lotus are putting on is just fine, as long as some of them don't fall off. then they'll all have to go.

That looks like Tonyoshi's car. I don't remember his car having that LOTUS on the back. Must be shopped.
I thought he meant by "not photoshopped, that the letters were added more crudely using a lesser program." Note how the car is not perfectly level, but the letters are.

Right Randy- misread.
I'd prefer the rectangular logo with the horse. I think that one SCREAMS "lotus" !! :p
I assume it will be easy to buy the little round Lotus badge and glue it to the back instad of the stickers. I think it will look particularly nice on my green car.
i absolutely agree, robert. i just wish it was REAL BRG. unless you are getting kermit!??

FYI... The Lotus "nose" badge are about $80 ea and require 2 holes. BTW that's what's used for the EU cars.

Good idea. Makes waxing easier
