 on Autosport Design. They may be a dealer, but the feel is of a smaller independent shop - with a lot of sweet vintage cars packed in. I was only there to look at a car and haven't had any work done there, but I wouldn't hesitate to give them a try if I were in the area.

so since the hamptons dealership is gone, i called over to huntington and this is how the conversation went:

me: "hello, i have a lotus and would like to bring it in for an inspection/oil change, can i bring it right over?"

girl: "no, you have to make an appointment."

me:" can i make an appointment for today?"

girl:"no".

me" how can we go about getting this done?"

girl: " you have to call back monday"

me: " i have to call monday to make an appointment?"

girl: "yes"

me:" is this how things usually are done? i have to call one day per week to make an appointment for a future date of service?"

girl" yes, is there anything else i can help you with?"

me" i guess not"

so thats where i stand so far.
