You can also try Ralph at RS Motorsports in Closter NJ, exit 2 off the Palisades Parkway. He knows his way around Lotus very well...

Thanks - I've managed to squeeze into Krugspeed in upstate NY. I hate driving through the City, but they seem like good people.

And just to make it easier, Colin's shop is housed in the Euro-Tire building.

ET is a great place to buy tires.

Hi Guys, I live in Jersey City and need to take my Evora in for some warranty work. Which dealer would you suggest? The Lotus is my only car and I work in Manhattan, so the only one which is practical is Manhattan Motorcars, but I'm not enthusiastic about that option.

What do you think about MM vs. Park Ave Lotus or Sports and Specialist Cars / Steel Wings?

I highly recommend Sports & Specialist Cars / Steel Wings. They have been terrific to deal with.

It may take some additional planning and time, but the trip down to them will be well worth it in the end.

I've almost never seen a comment on this board about Park Avenue. I've seen many positive comments about S&SC. That's where I go.

What are people's thoughts on Park Avenue? It's almost odd how little discussion and visibility there is.

RS Motorsports in Closter NJ (near the Tappan Zee) does warranty work. (Ralph does the prep on press cars for the Factory as well!)

I took my Elise to Park Ave for my oil lines.

It looked a little Ghetto how they taped up my new oil lines with what looks like black gaffing tape, but they were able to fit me in the day of and finish the job in 1 day.

still unsure how I feel about them

They replaced a wire harness on my 07, when they put the rear hatch back on the Exige it was misaligned and ate the paint on both the clam and the hatch. Everytime I open the hatch or look near the scoop it annoys me.

I don't let anyone touch my car anymore, few people treat things like their own and take any level of care to protect what they are working on.

Park Ave Service for lotus is closed six out of seven days a week. They are only open on Thursdays. Sh!t work by the way. Intermecanica are rip-off artists who charge and change things when they do not need to be changed. They are also incredibly slow and not reliable. Intermecanica is also assoc. with the former HRM, which speaks for itself in terms of reliability.

Manhattan Motors no issues with. Very professional and fast on service.
